You've written a business plan. You think it's pretty good. You've read it so many times you honestly can't tell anymore.

The person reading it has never met you. They've got a stack of these on their desk. They'll skim your executive summary, look at your financials, and form an opinion fast.

I know, because I've been that person.

So how do you stand out? And how do you make sure you haven't hit any of the instant red flags that get a plan rejected before anyone's even looked at your idea?

Every section of your plan, one at a time. Nothing skipped.

So I'm not someone who's read about starting a business. I've done it, multiple times.

THE HONEST PART

I can't get you the grant. Nobody can, and you should be careful with anyone who says otherwise.

What I can do is make sure your plan doesn't get passed over for something easily fixable. A missing sales figure. A goal with no date. A section the template asked for that you didn't know you skipped.

That's most of it, honestly. Most plans don't lose on the idea. They lose on the paperwork around the idea.

FAQS

I haven't finished my plan. Should I still book? Yes. That's the whole point of booking now. The spot is what runs out, not the time. Pay, then send the plan when it's done.

What do I need to send you? Your plan, in whatever state it's in. Word Googler Docs. Send your financials in Excel or Google Sheets.

How fast do I get it back? Depends how many are in the queue. I'll tell you where you sit the day you send it, and I won't take your money if I can't get it back in time for your deadline. Tell me your submission date when you book.

What if my plan is only half done? Send it anyway. Honestly it's better this way. Feedback on a half-finished plan is easier to act on than feedback on something you've already polished to death.

Do I get a call with you? No. This gets you the written document. That's deliberate... it's the part you can actually work from.

Is this only for Starter Company Plus? No. Same review works if you're going to a bank, a lender, or an investor. They're looking for most of the same things.

Are you connected to my Enterprise Centre? No. This is my own service, completely separate from any centre's program. Your centre doesn't see it and it has no bearing on how your application gets judged.

What if I want a second look after I make changes? If you'd like a second pass, it's $150.

Can you write my plan for me? No. I'll tell you exactly what to put in each section and what shape it needs to take. But you write it. A plan written by someone else reads like it, and reviewers can tell.
